Bobby and Joshua - Owners
Joshua and Bobby joined the team in 2023. Josh is Carol Ann's nephew and grew up just a couple of towns over in Bloomingdale. Bobby grew up all over the south eastern states, traveling with his military family. "The boys" moved to Michigan from Minneapolis and lived in Chicago before then. Both love to travel and spending lots of time with friends. They might have a little one soon too!! And we just can't wait. 🙂
Melissa - Innkeeper
Melissa moved here from Grand Rapids a year and a half ago. She has a background in hospitality and enjoys creating an inviting and comfortable stay for our guests. She loves dancing, yoga, and hiking. Good thing because moving and grooving is definitely a part of being an innkeeper! By far her favorite part of being an innkeeper is meeting you, the guest!
Kevin - Staff
Being born and raised in South West Michigan and after serving in The Air Force he came back to Michigan to continue his education and raise his family. Kevin owned several small businesses in the Kalamazoo area and then worked for Continental Airlines to travel the world. Returning home he landed at Inn at the Park where he has worked for several years enjoying the beauty of the Inn, the guests and especially SOHA on the lake shore.
Maria - Housekeeper
Maria, who we affectionately call ‘Speedy’, is one of our outstanding support staff and you will meet her bustling around the kitchen and taking care of our beautiful inn. She loves to cook and meet new people and if you have met her, you were most likely warmed by her contagious smile and laughter. Maria, also, has been a bus driver for the Hartford, Bangor, Lawrence areas for seventeen years and works in school food service. There is not much she wouldn’t do for her beloved family, even fishing though it’s not her favorite, and spends most of her free time with them. She adores her two grandbabies who have the most amazing heads of hair and sweet cheeks! She came to the inn about a year ago and we are so very fortunate to have her! Thank you, Maria, for all you do!
Mandy - Housekeeper
Mandy! Mandy! Mandy! Where do I begin? Born and raised in South Haven, Mandy is multiple people in one! Besides being one of our amazing support staff at the inn, Mandy is a caretaker of her family and of thirty high school live-in exchange students. She cares and cooks for them and we all know that in high school that is a tall order! She takes time to understand each student and even makes treats for their special days. She is an avid crafter, baker, gardener, and seamstress. She would, also, like to own a bed and breakfast someday. She calls herself a ‘loveable weirdo’ and we agree whole-heartedly, the most amazingly talented and loveable weirdo we know! We are so glad you are here, Mandy!
Judy - Kitchen Support
Judy has been here longer than any of us, 16 years! She brings her skills to the kitchen making cakes, prepping breakfast, and putting a shine on our kitchen. Judy moved to South Haven 21 years ago and enjoys pickle ball, walking, and golf... and let me tell you, this lady can dance! She is a former dance teacher and her moves still light up a dance floor! She lives a stones throw from the beach and enjoys her wine with great views! She's quite a lovely gal and we're fortunate to work alongside her.
